ECOWAS Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security Abdel-Fatau Musah stated that a date for a possible military operation in Niger is set, but could not be disclosed. The commissioner added, however, that military action could be prevented if Niger's Military Government will release detained President Mohamed Bazoum. Here is what he had to say.
